The hotel in Toronto was pretty swanky - had this catalog in the room. Socks were $38.00. I'm not sure if that's Canadian or U.S., but $38 for a pair of socks - you're kidding right? And these socks - Stew wouldn't even wear them.
What would make a pair of socks worth so much money? This I wonder. Are they made by hand? I know some friends who knit - they should really get onto the sock making if a pair costs this much.
