I printed out this post and added it to my written journal. Good reminders. Changing life one habit at a time instead of overhauling your entire life - what a concept. I, too, feel like I can do it all. I can develop the following habits all at once: eat right, exercise, keep the house clean, keep the laundry up to date, go to bed on time, journal every night, follow my routine, write more, read more, and so on and so on and so on. I get down on myself when I fail at these things without ever thinking that maybe, just maybe, I don't need a total overhaul of my life - maybe, I just need to change one thing today and get that ingrained and then change something else when this habit becomes something I just do instead of something I have to think about doing. Food for thought, for sure.
