I'm pretty happy to say that there isn't a whole lot to report today. Other than the continuing realization that Stew has eaten way too much hospital food recently. I wanted to make him pancakes for breakfast this morning, but noticed that we didn't have any baking powder. Not to be deterred, I decided I'd use baking soda. Stew finished eating his before I sat down to eat mine. One taste of that and I couldn't believe that he actually ate them. His taste buds must be dead.
His pain is doing well. It's pretty much under control. We gave him some before we changed his dressing and again before he went to bed. He slept okay - not as great as we would have liked, but better than in the hospital. I'm comforted just by knowing he is home.
His dressing change took a long time today, but that's okay, the more I do it the better I'll get at it.
Other than catching up on the DVR, napping and a trip to the store for me, not much happened around here today. Like I said, after the eventful last few weeks, Stew and I are looking forward to the quiet.
